The four major cancer risk factors are, in order, tobacco, alcohol, unhealthy diets, lack of physical activity.
Tobacco tops of all cancer risk factors and is the leading cause of preventable death: the annual number of tobacco-related deaths in France is estimated at 78 000, 47 000 cancer deaths.

GUARD AGAINST UV RAYS
For any outdoor activity (leisure, sports or other professional), it is appropriate to adopt good habits:
- avoid the sun between 11am and 16h;
- seek shade;
- out cover: clothing, hat, sunglasses;
- Frequently renew the application of solar high anti-UVA and UVB protection cream;
- monitor his skin.
Artificial UV (tanning beds) are also harmful to the skin: their use is discouraged and prohibited before 18 years.
